For Wedding Clients
Here you are asking: "what's next?" Well I'm here to walk you through every step of the way! Below is a general overview of my process. Go ahead and fill out the contact form to get started. You'll come to learn that I am very meticulous and communicative - from first contact to even after your final gallery or video is delivered, I'm in this with you. There's nothing I love more than becoming friends with my clients!
First things first, I'll email you a questionnaire to fill out. This will help me learn more about what you are looking for and will help me when generating your quote after our chat. I'd love to hop on a phone call, Zoom, or FaceTime to get to know each other and answer any questions that you have. After our chat, if you feel like we connect and the quote is within your budget, you simply hit "accept" and we move forward to the next step. If you have any questions that pop up after our chat, I'm here to answer them all! Simply email, call, text, or carrier pigeon your questions to me.
Please be advised that quotes are valid for 30 days, and do not guarantee availability or booking as we book on a first come, first serve basis.
Bookings are confirmed once the initial non-refundable retainer is paid and the contract is signed by all clients.
After you have accepted the quote, I will email you an invoice and the contract for your wedding. At the time I send the invoice and contract, I will place a temporary 48 hour hold on your wedding date. This gives you 48 hours to read the contract prior to signing and make the non-refundable retainer payment to confirm your booking. The invoice will break down payment amounts and due dates, but the contract will include this information too. The contract will be sent via email and can be signed electronically. Once I countersign the contract, you will receive a copy of it for your records. If you don't receive the copy, I'm happy to send one over to you. Payments can be made via cash, check, or online app payment.
Please be advised that receipt of invoice and contract does not guarantee availability or booking.
Bookings are confirmed once the initial non-refundable retainer is paid and the contract is signed.
Woohoo! Now it's time for the fun stuff! If you haven't noticed there's a button at the top of this page that says "Clients." This is password protected as it contains our wedding guides! Once your wedding has been booked, I'll provide the password to you. Within the page there are four links:
(1) My wedding guide for brides and grooms - this is an extensive guide for you. Take what you like or what works for you, leave what doesn't!
(2) My wedding guide for families and wedding parties - a shorter guide designed to give your friends and family members insight into how they can be an asset to your day and what they can expect.
(3) Vendor Recommendations - various wedding vendors who I would trust to send you to.
(4) "Meet My Second Shooters" - this page gives you an introduction to the possible second shooters I may have with me (if you are adding a second shooter or if there is one included in your package).
Engagement photo sessions - I LOVE this time together! These sessions allow us to work together prior to your wedding day and allow us to continue to get to know each other without the pressure of a timeline. It's also a great opportunity to get photos for save the dates, invitations, wedding websites, or simply just to have printed and framed at home!
Whether it is created by you, me, or another wedding vendor, we are of the mind that a wedding day timeline is a necessity! Ever seen the meme about "going with the flow...but when does the flow start?" That's me! :) But really, timelines allow everyone to know what is going on and when so that all vendors and participants are on the same page. If I'm doing your wedding day timeline, I will work closely with you and the other members of your vendor team to make sure the timeline works for everyone and covers what you want to do on your special day.
Oh my gosh, your wedding day is finally here! By now, we've already been communicating quite a bit, so I hope that my presence feels less like a camera crew and more like a friend joining in on your special day. I'll let you in on a little secret...no matter how much planning you do, something is bound to change or not go according to plan. Trust me, I know this personally! Don't let this scare you though, not only can I help you create back up plans for any of your concerns, but you've hired a team of wedding vendors and troubleshooting is part of the job. :) My goals are: (1) as minimal stress as possible, and (2) to be that gentle reminder that the wedding day is a celebration of your love - all the matters at the end of the day is you two.
Your package selection will determine the timeline for when you will see previews, your full photo gallery, and/or your wedding video. I upload your edited photos and video(s) to a private online gallery for your convenience regarding viewing, downloading, ordering prints, and sharing. I will also upload any wedding videos to our YouTube channel so you can easily share that link with friends and family as well! I only have two requests: (1) please do not edit any of my work (it makes me sad and you have 7 days to request any edits), and (2) please tag our social medias appropriately. This is a small, family owned and operated business - word of mouth is one of the most effective ways I can grow my business so that I can continue to contribute to my family. I appreciate you. :)
